- Learning & Course Progress: We automatically track course enrollments, video completion milestones, quiz scores, curriculum notes, study material downloads, and verifiable graduation certificates.
- Payment & Financial Records: When you purchase a course or request creator payouts, transactions are securely processed through our PCI-DSS certified payment gateway partner (Razorpay). Skilloon stores payment reference IDs, amounts, and dates. We never store raw credit card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers.
- Communications & Email Deliverability: Transactional communications, including 6-digit email verification OTPs and purchase confirmations, are processed securely via our transactional email provider (Brevo).
3. Contact Privacy & Creator Protection
We enforce strict boundary policies regarding student and instructor contact details:
- Pre-Enrollment Protection: An instructor's direct contact information is protected and hidden from non-enrolled users and public visitors.
- Post-Enrollment Transparency: Once a student enrolls in or purchases a course, verified contact channels and direct instructor support links become available exclusively within the active course workspace.
- Anti-Spam Guarantee: Student contact details are never exposed to other un-enrolled students or third-party marketers.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for legitimate educational, operational, and contractual purposes:
- To grant authenticated access to registered courses, video lessons, and downloadable PDF study guides.
- To generate and cryptographically verify authentic certificates of completion.
- To calculate and disburse instructor earnings based on platform commission terms.
- To send critical account alerts, password resets, and curriculum announcements.
- To detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud, unauthorized content distribution, or security vulnerabilities.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
